Who Should attend:
This course is aimed at employees and managers in industries where staff may come into contact with Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s) as part of their day to day works.
Aims:
The course aims to provide attendees with an understanding of the Control of Asbestos Regulations and enable them to identify potential ACMs so that they may control the risks to themselves and their staff on site.
Course Content:
- Legal requirements
- Risk assessment and control measures
- Health implications from asbestos exposure
- Discussion of materials which might contain asbestos
- The history of Asbestos and its uses
Candidate Assessment:
Test paper and practical assessment.
Qualification
On successful completion of the practical session and test paper the delegate will receive an ProRisk Safety Management Certificate which is valid for 1 year.
